WHEN
12-5pm
Check-In at the ballroom main doors. There will be volunteers waiting there to just check your email confirmation or Eventbrite ticket. Each adult ticket is allowed a free child under 10.
This event starts at noon and ends at 5pm.
Check-in can begin at 11:50.
Tickets for Saturday are $29 (plus Eventbrite fee) available on Eventbrite
PARKING
There is abundant free parking at the hotel. In the exciting event that we sell out, carpooling isn't the worst idea.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Expect a diverse, inclusive event full of women authors, many of them local to the DMV. There will also be narrators to meet, booktubers to talk to, as well as live poetry, Drag Queen Storytime, Firefighter Storytime, and a mini-salon out in the hallway. And of course LOTS OF BOOKS to buy, so come ready to support local authors! This is a perfect opportunity to support small, local business. Buy yourself books, buy friends their birthday presents, get some holiday books early. Have the authors sign the books for you!
There will be swag bags provided by one of our sponsors and various free swag to collect at the event info table as well as throughout the event. There will be free books with our book scavenger hunt, raffle bags, and good bookish vibes. All swag and swag bags are "while supplies last." One swag bag per ticket.

If you're going to be with us all day there are places to duck out and eat nearby and come back to join us.
