Janique Felicia Muckelvene was born to James and Pearline Muckelvene on September 4, 1972. She is the mother of 4 children, two sons and two daughters.  Janique recently became a new Bebia to her first grandchild/granddaughter in April of 2018.

Her father, being in the Military, was stationed in multiple States and Countries that allowed Janique to experience different cultures and people. This allowed for an open imagination and the acceptance of the uniqueness in others.

When her father passed away in 2010 of Prostate Cancer, her Mother and her two sisters (Jatawny and Jamecia) coped with his passing, by staying involved with the non-profit organization he and Jamecia co-founded during his battle: Warriors Fighting For His Cure.

They also focused on publishing two books:
“Getting Lost”
“The Very Awesome Adventures of RuRu & Rudy”

Janique is also the Host of “Remember September” an Open MIC held at More Than Java Café, 358 Main Street, Laurel MD 20707 every other Saturday.

Grant Myers is the Curator of the Gallery Wall for More Than Java Café’ that features local artists, for the month of September 2019, Janique is the Feature Artist. The opening Reception will be held during Remember September’s Open MIC on Saturday, September 7th at 7pm.
